The Race Car Function:
The optional race car function is ideal for paediatric examinations. The animation starts automatically with the measurement, as soon as you place the probe in the patient’s ear. If the child remains calm during the examination, the test can be performed successfully and the race car wins. However if the little patient moves the head, the examination has to start anew and the race car has to stop due to a flat tire. The animation serves as a distraction to keep the child as calm as possible during the examination.
