– The DefiMonitor XD defibrillator is designed for use only by properly trained first aid personnel, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, and can be powered by rechargeable battery or mains.
– The compact and lightweight device is suitable to be kept handy during patient transport.
– The best equipped version consists of a defibrillator, ECG, external pacemaker, data recorder, pulse oximeter and printer.
– The device is suitable for trans-thoracic defibrillation.
– Its main application is defibrillation in asynchronous manual mode, with an additional application for cardio version atrial fibrillation in synchronous manual mode.
– In manual mode, the doctor can select the energy level required for defibrillation according to the patient’s weight, from 5 to 360 Joules, based on his experience. In this way, in manual mode, it is also possible to defibrillate children with suitable electrodes.
